12-strings

anyone know what 12-strings the la's used? looking to buy one - fairly cheap, used etc - but realised i have hardly any knowledge about what's good/what to avoid!

Sure there's someone here with more La's info but 12-string acoustics tricky to buy used due to neck tension/high action unless you get it reset. Seagull are good new ones. Electric I'd go Danelectro, if you like jangly :D

I have a crackin' Eko 12 string. East action , sounds great, appropriate vintage. Bought it from someone who was moving to the states for £30. It had only ever been used as a 6 string. It doesn't mike up well for live stuff but sounds excellent when recorded.

Forgot about Ekos! Which is strange as I have an Eko 6-string! Built like a tank!
