Tears in the Rain (Kitchen Devon) Tab...

Postby The Lost Chord » Wed Dec 06, 2006 5:00 am

I threw this together, really not a guitar player much but I tried... I am just curious if anyone would listen to the audio of Tears in the Rain from the kitchen tape and see if they can find out what theys playing.

This doesnt match the sound, but the chord progression fits nicely, i know its missing something tho

(Em)Take(C)my(G)hand, and(Bm)pour my heart (Em)into the (C)land

repeating after that basically.

Just had a good time playing it for myself, ofcourse i have trouble doing the single note line which I LOVE, but my chords are probly not right so whatever!

Any help? cant seem to match their sound, feel like I have to drop every note on my guitar to get there.

oh yeah and then ofcourse

its so (Am)hard to (Bm)explain lost like (Em)tears (C)in the (Bm)rain

Is a tab sub-forum needed? There's a few threads floating around, would it be worth grouping them?

Here's how I play it, not spot on, but sounds good enough I reckon:

Main riff:

E---------------------
B---------------------
G---------------------
D---------------------
A-------2--2h3--2
e---------------------3---0

(Em)Take (C)my (G)hand

and(B7) pour my heart in(Em)to the (C)land

...

it's so (Am)hard to exp(Bm)lain, lost like (Em)tears (C)in the (G - or B7) rain

Hope that helps
