The La's album, 30 years old

Postby Tony » Fri Oct 02, 2020 1:32 pm

I'm a day late, but wow. Came out 1st October 1990.

I think I Can't Sleep, Liberty Ship, Failure & Looking Glass have stood the test of time. Or if not time, then the deluge of alternative versions.

So a thread to celebrate or commemorate. The album!

30 Years. Jesus. I was a very young man when I fell in love with that LP. Still listen to it every week.

Fuck me. Where does the time go.

I originally got that sleeve signed by Lee and passed it on to a member on here!
Hope he didn't charge you to much for it!!!!

Provenance is the key :D
Got some Cast singles signed on the same day by John Power.
Think you might have owned one of them as well.
