Posted the Softback yesterday but the hardback will be another week due to the cover being handmade and the material coming from Sweden. Sorry about the delay.

Ace. Been doing the impossible - not listening to the La's! - while I wait for the hardback. If it's anything like the exhibition - and it is - it'll rekindle my adoration for the band.

Enjoy, folks. Roll on the hardback!

When is the hardback supposed to be getting sent out to those who bought it?

I ordered the signed soft back from 80's casuals. It's a nice book.

My overriding feelin... man, I wish I got to see the La's for £1.50!

Nice book, though I think I preferred the exhibition - just love seeing all Lee's lyrics written out (there are several here but it is not exhaustive), and there was certain other material (eg, Go! Discs signing photo) I suppose did not fit within the remit of the book's timeframe.

It's a lovely volume to pore over casually, and nice to better understand the local hype around the band though. Before the magic went. Lee would talk to the crowd at gigs! (though a listen to the Terry Christian radio session makes me think the internal rot wasn't overnight... it doesn't suddenly become 1988 and immediately turn sour!)

They ain't unique. the IOU is one of the Viper sets

IOU, well the gig its from, well, I don't think it's been officially released but I have it. Think I actually still need to upload it! It's not brilliant, being without a drummer, a curio - not their best

To me, very strange choices for vinyl.

So that IOU demo was recorded in the stable? Interesting, i thought it was Lee on a 4-track. It's my favourite version of the song.

I would like the scrapbook as well, if it's still available, need to look for it.
