Howdo?,

I'm very happy to tell yers I've been invited to play the 'International Pop Overthrow' festival in Liverpool later this year (details yet to be finalised). So apparently this involves two performances, one at the Cavern Club and one at the Cavern Pub.I'm thinking late May/early July-ish time. There are only two people in the high writers and one of 'em won't be coming, unfortunately,so it'll probably just be me and an acoustic guitar.

I don't know what the ticket details are gonna be but if anyone is interested then I'll be happy to keep you posted.

Cheers,
Paul

OK then,nice people,

First,here's this:-

and....

I've now been confirmed to play The Cavern Club on May 18th (twice!!),
once on each stage:-

First set-On the ''Front'' Stage :-

12:15 The High Writers
1:00 Warm Morning
1:45 Vinyl Floor
2:30 Magma Brain
3:15 Kelly's Heels
4:00 The Breakdowns (acoustic)
4:45 The Popdogs
*5:30 Mike Badger and the Shady Trio*
__________________________________________________________
*So Mike Badger is gonna be playin' the same day as me!
Might ask him to do 'Open Your Heart' with me (well,it would be nice
to see if he would but I bet I just chicken out instead!)
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Then:-

Second set - On the ''Back'' Stage

12:30 Kevin McGowan
1:15 Matt Purcell & The Blessed Curse
2:00 The Temponauts
2:45 The High Writers
3:30 The Twin-Sets
4:15 Honeybug
5:00 Norman Kelsey
5:45 Lee & The Lovedaddies
6:30 The Ragamuffins
7:15 Magma Brain
8:00 The Popdogs
8:45 Ross
9:30 Surf School Dropouts
10:15 French Boutik
11:00 Elgazelle
11:45 The Shakers
12:30 The Beat Rats
1:15 Steed

So if you are in the region and fancy hearing some of my La's (amongst others) inspired music, then please do come along to The Cavern,Matthew Street,Liverpool.

At this very moment I'm trying my best to assemble a little power trio to do the high writers sets (fingers crossed) but if push comes to shove,I'll simply do it on me own - [''A'Coussies And A Campfire'' style]

I don't know the situation with tickets/entry but I will try and add as many of you who nice folks who turn up to my guest-list (If there is one!!) so,hopefully, you'll see us for free.

:)

Thanks for your time,
Paul (thw)

Latest is the high writers will be appearing as a three piece unit (featuring the two Toms) , playing all the hits and more!
Hope to see you there.
(still don't know what the dance is with tickets and stuff though!)

Thought I already posted this here.Sorry if it went somewhere else!
Despite some occasional 'technical difficulties' this turned out OK.
