I'm in a minority but I much prefer the album version.

But I love the middle 8 from the picket!

The woodcray mix of the bob andrews version with the sitar-sounding lead guitar is pretty fantastic!

The original, the mix is just more energetic, Lillywhite's seems a bit flat to me.

Hedges' would be great if not for the sound of that awful lead guitar!

What version is it that gets radio play then? The lillywhite or the original?

I'm sure it's the Lilywhite version that gets the radio play and that one's my favourite, probably because it's forever etched in my mind!

I've never heard Lillywhite's mix on the radio or in clubs etc. Plus the '88 version has the iconic video, so whenever it's on VH1 or whatever music channels exist nowadays it seems to be that one

Leckie version is boss, got a real energy to it. Maybe a bit too much going on in it but its certainly an underrated version. Drums sound very Roses like although I know it predates them before anyone pulls me up on that one haha ;)
