know what your saying and i heed your caution redlands but i think thats the extreme of it, its a good novelty and thats alls it is, it would be great to see tho,there is a place for it,just hope it doesnt become its own multi billion dollar industry, just imagine seeing the beatles, buddy holly , hendrix and the la's.all on the same night..dont think id sleep for a week :shock:

Interesting news. Obviously the cynical part of me wonders how many people could be classed as "having worked on the new La's album" in the last 20+ years, but the more optimistic side of me is pretty excited by this.

If this is actually happening it makes you wonder about what the line up is at present. I believe Gary is currently out of the country touring with someone else, but, as we know, John Power was definitely in Dublin a week or so ago at the Roses gig.

Joking or not, I find any talk of anyone working on a new La's album pretty funny, unfourtunately. Anyone who's followed the La's story know by now that no new songs will ever be released. "Tinkering with something majestic"...! Ha.

There's probably more chance of a Lee Mavers hologram appearing at the Olympic opening ceremony tonight singing The Human Race! Not a bad idea that actually, can a hologram record an album?
