Oh.. and to a certain someone name calling.. The neck on you! it's because of your carry on in a few other threads recently that forced my hand on this.

"ConfrontationAt approximately 7 p.m. local time, an hour before kick-off, the trouble started.[8] The Liverpool and Juventus supporters in sections Y and Z stood merely yards apart. The boundary between the two was marked by temporary chain link fencing and a central thinly policed no-man's land.[9] Missiles began to be thrown across the divide. Fans were able to pick up stones from the terraces beneath them.

As kick-off approached, the throwing became more intense. A group of L fans moved towards the side perimeter wall, near to the corner flag. Some tried to climb over the wall to escape. Many escaped; however, the wall could not withstand the force of the fleeing Juventus supporters and collapsed.

It was at this point that the majority of the deaths occurred — 39 people died, and a further 600 were injured..."

What happened at Heysel was a tragedy and shames UEFA, football, and yes, Liverpool fans to an extent. The ground clearly wasn't fit for purpose, and the behaviour of BOTH sets of fans was tragic.

That's no excuse for Everton's habitual success in failure.

Well off topic now.

Sorry for ruinning you thread OP.

I apologize Pablo for calling you a "p**ck", I was just slightly offended by you calling us "murdering c*nts", I didn't realise I was the one in the wrong. I cry at Hillsborough, so it's a sensitive subject, and to post it here so soon to the anniversary and to what is probably a board with more than a few Scousers on is a bit out of order, well it is in my book.

I also apologize to Syl, for being what appears to be such a burden, like I said, a simple message would suffice. Nice one.

Pablo. "I stand by what I said". Frig me!!! Utterly depressing.

Cant be good for your health carrying such bitterness inside you. I sincerely believe the thoughts we carry in our heads can often affect our health directly.
To hide hehind the anonymity of the internet and put out such rancour in such a vile rant would have me question what I was all about. Sincerely.
As If i had a gun pointed out, to come out with that ,on what is in essence a celebration of Liverpool culture with lots of Scousers on, has left a really nasty taste in my mouth.

It takes all sorts, I suppose.

What an horrible human being, you bring shame to humanity.

Anyway, not being a c*** or something, but this thread should have been closed/deleted a long time ago. If there's one subject you can't f*** with in Liverpool or Scousers, it's Heysel/Hillsborough. I decided to ignore it at first, but "I stand by what I said" is crossing the line.
Bin the thread before the abuse starts flying, I (and others I'm sure) feel strongly offended.

That's not the point of The La's, or this board, is it ?

I understand and sympathise with you, but there's enough 'hiding', online and in the press. If the opinion\attitude is there in someone's mind, either religious, gender or racial bias, that way of thinking will still be there, no matter how much deleting and locking you do.

I'd rather tackle something like this in the open. In the meantime I'll lock the thread to prevent the discussion becoming more poisonous, please PM me with any concerns. Cheers.
