heard from 2 good sources it is actually true. Gary Bandit texted Mani so wait and see  but it's the Roses so, original line up it would have to be. Cast, then The La's...

Simply on the strength of the downward spiral of Ian Brown's solo albums (plus the chronic waste of Reni's talent that it him being retired) I think it's a good idea (and maybe because Reni had left by the time of the only time I saw them) . For all other reasons, I think it's a bad one. I suppose their live legacy is a bit mixed though (Ally Pally and Reading '96) and they deserve a payout. Think they might regret how they spent their Geffen advance (although if rumours are to be believed Ian did give a lot to the homeless).

perhaps the recent surge of successful reunions of Cast, Pulp, Suede, The La's and The Libertines have made them think "why the fuck not"

Digsy did mention it to me a while back. Hmmm.

Think The Gallagher's or The Courteeners will get in on the opening bill.

I would take Noel or The Courteeners. Love the guts of them both, would make a fucking top gig. Can see it happening, every report seems to be getting more realistic. Noel may be too big for support, Courteeners though are the next best and biggest thing in the city............. So long as there's no beady eye.
