Good luck to all the other Shack fans on the board and thanks for turning me onto them way back when.

I read somewhere that Pete Wilkinson had gone a bit 'mental' on Facebook saying he and the rest of the Shack lads were mortified that the tape had been shared (I think it was by their manager at the time 'Mr Moondog' who posts on Shacknet, in all good faith) as they'd never wanted it to come out like that...

He is,at that.Funny,I never thought about Shack in terms of folk-rock but when I saw that's the term you use to describe The Sailmakers' stuff it clicked.Clearly Shack are a bit folk-rock but for some reason that had never occurred to me.

Both Shack and Sailmakers (and The La's sometimes too) have a touch of that sea shanty type thing, for want of a better way to descibe it.Don't gedt me wrong though,I'm not saying your gear is all about copying Mick Head though, there's clearly more to it than that.

Well done,

Paul
