Yeah, the uploader's Lee Garnett (on the left in the above pic), with Cammy (on bass) and Neil. They did a handful of mainly support slot gigs in '94-'95. Be interesting to see if he puts any more up.

Ah, I knew I recognised the name, but wasn't sure where from. So the line up from the Dodgy/Oasis support slots was still in place by 1996, I hadn't realised that.

Edgar Jones replaced Cammy around that time so it's likely him on the recording.

Woah, cool. Sounds like a dicta phone recording

I believe Lee Garnett is also visible in the There He's Gone article from 95

Looks like we have a new channel to watch!

Lee seems to have never stopped trying. Gigs in 92, 94 and 95 with the Cammy on bass line up (though I believe James Joyce handled bass up til 94, maybe him leaving was the switch for Cammy to go on bass), then activity 95-96 at Rat Scabies' place with Edgar, then the Crescent era being 1998... Then Macey's visit where Lee had his Liverpool studio, taking us up to 2000.

Lee G's profile pic is a mixing desk!

From his website. Have a read! https://www.polysonix.com/bio/

Polysonix is the creation of myself Lee Garnett who started out life as a musican when i joined a local band called The La's at age 18 as their lead guitarist. I went on to perfom several live shows and spend 2 years in the studio with them before heading out to pastures new. Attending multiple music related courses to get a better all round education i then started freelancing as an audio engineer and recorded local bands demo's in my home studio.

Probably lots!

-----

I was fiddling with the Defreitas sessions and found out the reverb is all on the right channel - although it seems to have the bass and maybe Lee's acoustic there too. Hard panning left in Winamp will get you the same results :D

I've fucked about with it, and here's I Can't Sleep where you can hear Lee and John WITHOUT REVERB RUINING IT

Good work! This sounds infinitely better than the 'released' version :D

I'm working on the full Defreitas set because that trick works on all the tracks :)

Anywho, Montreaux 1992 Soundboard in the meantime...

Also I've put up Amsterdam Melkweg 1991 - the encore features a jam I haven't heard before leading into I Can't Sleep!

Ah so that's The Seeker...

Believe they also covered Magic Bus, maybe in 95 or thereabouts

Had a go at fixing the awful echo on the DeFreitas session... some startling musicianship is buried underneath an effect so liberally applied it sounds like sabotage. Also restored Looking Glass and the untitled jam, which are bafflingly left off Viper's 1987 set.
