Was this the drummer that got sacked? Man, the drumming sucks, so much off tempo drumming

No, Nick was sacked before the La's made it to Manchester (eg, you can hear him on Sorry)

That's Jasper on drums.

Nick was sacked and Jasper took over!

The best sessions to me. It has the groovy bass and the organic sound.

There's four mixed like that from this session (it's the Mick Moss session, one of our members remixed to bring out Lee's guitar)

Thank you, i love these sessions. I saw your video a long time ago and wondered if there were more acoustic mixes.

(The La's Amsterdam 1991, sorry i can't embed it properly)

Listening to this gig, im not a big fan. The lead guitar seems to be out of tune many times, and misses phrases. Another thing, why does Lee's voice get raspy in some concerts and not in others? Even his pronunciation is different, sounds like he is struggling to sing. Is it due to dental problems or something? Comparing to the Manchester gig in the same year, seems weird.

I was disappointed with that one too. The La's in Amsterdam and it sounds sloppy? (Did they not do enough space cake? :D )

Better 1991 gigs IMO:
