aye mad money for a 1'' pin badge that, looks quite mad though doesnt it, there's been a few people selling La's pin badges (the usual type) and they've been going for a few quid like

ive got both the 7'' box sets, the ''there she goes'' one is fully signed '91, but someones nabbed the badge like, ahh well...

but you cant beat a good badge

im surprised there isnt more SHACK memorabilia, the La's stuff seems to be a frequent seller

johnny check yer ezinbox

ive got the promo poster, is indeed USA, and probably bought from 'RAT RECORDS' in detroit as they had a bulk boxful of them back in 2001ish up on eBay, i got mine for about 6 quid, the guy said he had more from an instore at the time, he also had those little pin badges (think syl has one) ''ask me to play the la's'' etc.

coasters keyrings etc are obviously not official as it were but novelty items made up by someone who can do that, still - nice to have if youre wanting your flat to be covered wall to ceiling in La's nicknacks... what next... 'CLEAN prophet'' bars of soap??

got a promo copy, with a simple white ''release date'' for Anglo Plugging and (i think) November 1988 stamped on it... with the black sticker on the front too... sticker is just a trivial extra of course...

This is knocking about a fair while now, I think it started selling in 1998. Someone just gave the compilation a fresh cover.

Remember, used to be, 'Ultimatate Rare Tracks'. The tracks sourced from vinyl.

Very frisky product description and band history!
The hard to find THE LA'S "ULTIMATE RARE TRACKS" import CD. The story of Lee Mavers and the La’s is one of the last great rock ‘n’ roll tales: drugs, fame, obsession, hubris, mystery, disappearance, reclusiveness and, most of all genius. With timeless single “There She Goes”, Lee Mavers’ La’s overtook The Stone Roses as the great hopes for British guitar rock and paved the way for Britpop. However, since 1991, The La’s have been silent, while rumours of studio-perfectionism, madness and drug addiction have abounded. With only one album out, this is the next best thing. Track listing: 1. All by myself 2. I.O.U. (alternate version) 3. Clean prophet 4. Timeless melody (e.p. version) 5. Knock me down 6. Doledrum (e.p. version) 7. Over 8. There she goes (not he says) 9. Come in come out 10. Feelin’ (alternate version) 11. Endless 12. Liberty ship 13. Way out (e.p. version) 14. There she goes (’88 original version). We accept PayPal, Money Orders and Cash. We ship world wide. Shipping and handling in the USA is $4.30.
