playing the music of the la's/ cast
Hi all,

I have the following music books. They are the full albums in Piano/ Guitar and Vocal. The La's chords are easy to play, and authentic, as well as differing through the Tab'la'tures site.
The cast ones, are more harder, as its for standard tuning, as it crazy chords, instead of easy ones, with altered tuning.

the la's - the la's
cast - all change
cast - mother nature calls
cast - magic hour

should anyone want, any of the songs, from the books, I'll be more than happy to photocopy them for you.

also, does anyone else have these music books for the two bands, like real guitar tabs? as i have raked the net, and they are mainly in-accurate.

cheers, James [birmingham]
books and tabs

Postby James » Wed Jan 08, 2003 11:58 am

try Steven's site for La's tabs/chords...and im sure Cast ones are easy to find out there on the 'net...

is the La's album actually out on a proper sheet music chord box book??? ive never seen one personally...i try to keep away from music books, I'm self taught and find itmore enjoyable to work it out myself...

also, as youve found out with some of the books you mention, they are in stupidly complex chords... where a simple 'A' major chord is the correct chord, they knock it down a few keys or they tell you to play some weird 'Asus 5'' or something... puts a lot of people off, I remember John Power dissing music books in a guitar mag as they hinder rather than help...
