Cheers dude,
I dunno about Timeless Melody, the chords I posted above should be right. But you'll have to use the Much Music interview version to get your playing near enough. The album version is altered pitch and also the La's live are usually tuned down to save on their voices too. I think the Much Music one is in standard tuning, so that's the best one to listen to, to get it sounding right.

Lee's obviously more self taught so has his own style of playing guitar which makes it harder to work stuff out. For instance the Lookin' Glass chorus I think is A D Dm G, but Lee uses a weird Dm which is fretted more as an F.. 003230. If anybody has any other questions about songs I'll try and help but I don't really have the time to tab out whole songs at the moment. Cheers.

I did start on Knock Me Down years and years back, I think the intro is still up at the cached website...

The guitars are tuned all over the place so I never got round to finishing it, but this should lead you along...

I just listened to this blokes covers after having a bit of a drink..

Anyway, sound guy, he seems to have tabbed stuff fairly well himself so I think I can take a bit of a step back.
The only criticism is I can tell he's recorded the guitar parts then added the vocals.. mate do both at the same time.
I can pick up the separation and it hurts the performance. But away from that, good job dude.

Good choice of covers. It's weird cos I think I got through the summer of 97 with `Live The Dream' and playing Turok Dinosaur Hunter on N64.

That's because he's using the Apogee One. It can only do one recording at a time (guitar input or microphone)
Rythm guitar could be recorded via the microphone with the vocals, but it would decrease the sound quality, which is fine on these brilliant covers.

Ah, fair enough. Obviously we can't all have decent recording equipment in the house.

Makes me appreciate Edgar's `Soothing Music For Stray Cats' some more, some great sound jiggery pokery on there, but is it me or does the title track sound like the Police Squad theme?

Found it, it's not the actual main theme but incidental music during the show, usually when Frank is in the car. When I first heard the CD I remember thinking Edgar had subconsciously nicked it from somewhere.. It appears a few times during the car bits in this episode.
