Anyone know chords in this tune?

Love how Mavers can play any genre of music, some world music vibe on this one with the chanting. Can picture him playing this to some tribe in the jungle!!!

Can't help with the chords I'm afraid, but here's a quick stab at the lyrics. Anyone care to hazard a guess at the missing words?

Oh, then don't get me wrong
And I'll sing you a song
By a lonely old man
That I met while out walkin'

In a lonely old road
And we got to talkin'
About peoples, places
Politics and graces
Man in the world
And the crisis he faces

And the circus ring master
Can take us no faster
Through the ring of a well
And deep bottomless disaster

Oh, then don't get me wrong
And I'll sing you a song
'bout the ??? in the bottom
the short, the long

Of the fat and the skinny
The weak and the strong
Of the questions the answers
The right and the wrong

Of the right and the left
And your home is the end
Of the ??? ???
To the letter you send

Oh, don't get me wrong
When I sing you a song
When I tell you a ???
And this world won't take long

About a lonely old man
But the time ain't worth waitin'
Just like everyone else
But the time that it's takin'

Yeah, I think you've got it there Kev. Seems (relatively) obvious now you've pointed it out.

i thought i could hear similarities to son of a gun, i think its just a Dsus2, and then 2nd fret to 3rd fret on the A string, so Dsus2 to a Dsus2/C with the b# in the middle, it changes when he does the weird voice warble bit but idk what that bit is

This has been doing my head in for a while now and I think I've worked out all the lyrics. Can't be sure I'm 100% right obviously. Whether I'm right or not this is some of the greatest poetry I've ever seen.

Oh, then don't get me wrong
When I sing you a song
By a lonely old man
That I met while out walking
In a lonely old road
And we got to talking

It was peoples and places,
Politics and graces,
Man in the world and the crisis he faces
And the circus ringmaster
Can take us no faster
Through the ring of a well
In deep bottomless disaster

Oh, then don't get me wrong
When I sing you a song
'Bout the shock at the bottom,
The short and the long,
Of the fat and the skinny,
The weak and the strong.

Of the questions, the answers,
The right and the wrong,
Of the right and the left
And your home is the end
Offer nothing left
Through the letter you send.

Oh, don't get me wrong
When I sing you a song
And I tell you, lie curled
And this world won't take long.

With a lonelier man
That the time is worth waiting
Just like everyone else
But the time that it's taken.
