Has anyone managed to play this accurately to the album/live version?

I just can't seem to find it - the tab out there doesn't seem quite spot on...

The variation I play for the very start is . . .

A chord, but don't think the B string is hit at the very start

I think the trick to having it sound right is in the 5-3-2-0 tumble on the D string from 3-2-0, it's picked very fast.

You can for the sake of ease just hit open G instead of fret 5 on D, but it doesn't sound like it's played this way, unless Lee mutes the G string.

That tumble is fast, and A5 is part of that fast tumble (after you hit this just form the open A chord but don't strike the B string); the last two notes seem the same and it seems to sound right to my ears played like that. Nothing rings out in the intro apart from the A chord, so I don't think there's a lot of swapping strings; the G note at the height of that little riff (string D fret 5, or open G string if you wish) doesn't ring out either which is why I don't play it open. You can REALLY make out this tumble on the Hedges version above others and I think it's the missing element from Steven's (Mavers81) old tab which is otherwise right.

Hope this helps a bit. I'm again not 100% sure if this is right! But it might add a little depth to what's in that tab.

Other folk, feel free to rip this apart as drastically wrong etc. :D
