I found the following listening to the song several times. But I am no native English speaker so there may be mistakes. Can anyone correct? Thank you

Tobasi

------------------------------------------------

ALL BY MYSELF

The seasons change but always seem, to fear the same the change will weight again, again
My mind is all a game you know, of tears of joy from pain sorrow and rain, again

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me, hurt me

I'm all by myself, all by myself
I will chase away the sickness, all by myself
All by myself, all by myself
I will pray for my forgiveness, pray for myself
All by myself, all by myself

-SOLO-

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me, hurt me

I'm all by myself, all by myself
I will run to my assistance, all by myself
All by myself, all by myself
I will run for my resistance, all by myself
All by myself, all by myself, all by myself, all by myself
all by myself, all by myself, all by myself, all by myself.

Hiya,

Very late with this, but this is what I hear as the lyrics.

ALL BY MYSELF

The seasons change but always seem to be the same, the change remains again, again
And life is all a game you know, of tears of joy and pain, sorrow and rain, again

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me, hurt me

I'm all by myself, all by myself
I will chase away the sickness, all by myself

All by myself, all by myself
I will pray for my forgiveness, pray for myself
All by myself, all by myself

-SOLO-

Sticks and stones may break my bones but names will never hurt me, hurt me

I'm all by myself, all by myself
I will run to my assistance, all by myself

All by myself, all by myself
I will (?...) my resistance, all by myself

All by myself, all by myself, all by myself, all by myself
all by myself, all by myself, all by myself, all by myself.

Is this the bit.Where on the second time around it goes "Da-Da,Da,Da,Da"
before going back to the low part based around the top three strings of an E-major chord?

Cheers,
Paul

Thank you Rod Cow, the lyrics you found make more sense. Hence, I will play it like that (but I don't think that I will put another version on youtube).

Well, Johan Cruyff, it seems that unfortunately I even don't know this song. But I will try to get hold of it hoping that it won't be too difficult.

Meant to metion this, but may have forgotten.

Lee deff has an unwound G string on his acoustic for this song.Just another techincal detail tha makes it easier to play.

Cheers,
