I've been a La's fan for (cough) over 20 years. I saw them many times (possibly every time) they appeared in Manchester between '87/'88 down to their rather bleak Power-less gigs in '91(?). The live versions of the songs without John's harmonies were nowhere near as good. I also saw them on their "comeback" tour a couple of years ago. I'm personally not very excited by the new "deluxe" thing. I bought the BBC sessions disc when it came out, and some of the Viper ones, and there's 1 or 2 good tracks on each, but I always felt disappointed. I'd be interested in buying a complete box-set or something which gathered together all the tracks they ever recorded, be they originals, live only oddities/instrumentals or covers.
Which brings me to a question. I've looked at the 'Retrospective' section, and it's full of impressive stuff, but is there a SUMMARY anywhere which simply lists ALL the songs The La's ever performed, be it in a studio, live or session?
